About the Tank Museum Archive

The Tank Museum Archive holds resources directly related to the Royal Armoured Corps of the British Army, especially the Royal Tank Regiment. The archive preserves and promotes their personal and official documents from 1916 to the present day.

Royal Tank Corps Enlistment Records, 1919-1934

Findmypast has worked in partnership with the Tank Museum Archive to publish ledgers recording enlistments into the Royal Tank Corps between 1919 and 1934. The documents record other ranks soldiers who joined by:

The Royal Tank Corps was known as the Tank Corps before 18 October 1923. It was renamed again on 4 April 1939 and is now known as the Royal Tank Regiment.
