Non-Conformist and Roman Catholic Records 1671-1910

Some registers of baptisms, marriages and burials for faiths other than the Church of England have also been deposited at the Cheshire Record Office.

These include Baptists, Congregationalists, Methodists, Presbyterians, Society of Friends (Quakers), Unitarians, and Roman Catholics.

The coverage and dates of the registers vary considerably and, although they are not complete, they still amount to more than 175,000 individual events of baptism, marriage and burial.
