We've added over 650,000 more pages to our British Newspapers

Family history is far more than just names and dates, so to help you add colour and tell your whole family story we've just added over 650,000 more new pages to our local British Newspapers 1710-1963.
You can find all kinds of details in this collection that relate to every aspect of daily life, family and social history. The information ranges from the personal to the downright bizarre – as we've discovered with this delightful picture puzzle from the Illustrated Police News.
Brought to you in partnership with the British Library, this amazing resource now covers over 250 years – that's up to eight generations of your family all in one place! There are now 6.5 million pages for you to explore, and we're adding 8000 new pages every single day.
You'll be able to search 40 million pages when we finish our project, from Land's End to John O'Groats, so there's every reason to keep searching, no matter where in Britain your ancestors are from.
