Vouchers

Vouchers are a great gift idea. Give access to our records to friends and family without having to sign up for a subscription. It is a useful wayto try the site and ideal for anyone with an inkling of interest in family history.

Voucher costs

• £5 (40 credits) valid for 90 days (can be used on findmypast.co.uk and 1911census.co.uk)
• £35 for a three month Full subscription (includes access to the 1911 census)
• £110 for a 12 month Full subscription (includes access to the 1911 census)

Instructions to redeem vouchers

To redeem a voucher please register to become a member of the website, or sign in if you are an existing member. Registration is free. Once registered or signed in, you will be presented with a page that includes an 'activate voucher' link. Click on the 'activate voucher' link and follow the brief instructions.

Buying vouchers

Vouchers can be bought from stockists in the UK or abroad or by mail order. A full list of voucher stockists can be found below.

Our list of libraries and archives who stock vouchers in England and Wales, as well as overseas, is growing, so do check back on a regular basis to see if your local library has been added to the list.

Vouchers are available by mail order from The Guild of One Name Studies and from The National Archives' secure online store.

It is also worth checking with your local stockist as to whether they are willing to provide a mail order service for you.

Becoming a voucher stockist

You need to make a minimum purchase of £100 worth of vouchers, for which you will receive a discount. Please download the order form and read the special terms and conditions for stockists.

If you are unable to download the order form please email accounts@brightsolid.com and we will email a form to you.

Is a subscription better for you?

Many of our customers have found that they enjoy more freedom from one of our subscription options.

These subscriptions allow unlimited access to the records that they cover for the duration of the subscription. It is also possible to access the records on findmypast.co.uk using PayAsYouGo credits.
