What can I do within ‘my account’?
In ‘my account’ you can change your personal details (including your password and email preferences), edit your subscription and payment details, or view a history of the payments you’ve made to findmypast.co.uk.

How do I change my sign-in preferences?
Sign in to the site, go to the 'my account' page, and click ‘My personal details’. You can choose whether you are signed in automatically or not, and opt in or out of receiving our newsletters and offer emails, using the tick boxes beneath 'preferences'.

Tick 'Keep me signed in' if you want to be recognised and signed in automatically each time you visit findmypast.co.uk.
If you use a shared computer (for example, at a library, an archive centre or internet cafe), we strongly suggest you tick 'I am using a shared computer' instead. This will ensure that your findmypast.co.uk account is not used by those who share the computer.
Click 'Update my details' to finalise any changes you make. You can alter these preferences at any time.
How do I change my email address?
You can change your email address from the ‘My personal details’ page within 'my account'. Simply change the details in the 'email address' and 'confirm email address' boxes, then click 'update my details'.
How do I sign out?
Click the green 'sign out' link at the top of the page to sign out of your account.
If you have set your account to 'Keep me signed in', you will need to disable this option before you click 'sign out'. To do so, simply go to the ‘My personal details’ page within 'my account', untick the 'Keep me signed in' box under 'preferences', and confirm the change by clicking 'update my details'. The 'My personal details' page will refresh, and the message 'Your account has been updated' will be displayed. Finally, click 'sign out'.
You can alter these preferences at any time.

How do I delete my account?
To delete your findmypast.co.uk account please contact our Customer Support team either by email or phone: +44 20 3326 6300.
Password support is available by email 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Outside of office hours please email info@findmypast.co.uk with any queries.
We endeavour to answer all queries submitted by email within two working days.
