2. Family Tree Explorer
You can start creating your family tree from the homepage or the ‘Family Trees‘ page. When you‘ve signed in to the site, click ‘Create tree‘ on the right-hand side of the homepage.
If you‘ve signed out of the site you can start your tree by clicking ‘Create‘ at the bottom of the ‘Create your family tree for free‘ box on the homepage.
Alternatively, you can click the ‘Family Trees‘ tab at the top of your screen which will take you to the ‘Family Tree Explorer‘ page.
You will then be given the option of retrieving an old tree or creating a new one. Click ‘Create a new tree’ and the Family Tree Explorer wizard will open. Just follow the onscreen instructions to start building your tree.
Start building your family tree with Family Tree Explorer.
If you have started a family tree elsewhere, you can import it into Family Tree Explorer to continue working on it. Just click the ‘Import Gedcom’ button and follow the onscreen instructions to import your file.
