1. Viewing the records on findmypast.co.uk
At findmypast.co.uk you can search over 650 million records for free*, but you will need to pay to view the original images and transcriptions.
Many of our customers find our Explorer subscription gives them the greatest flexibility and value.
You can also view our records with PayAsYouGo credits, which are ideal for dipping in and out of records, or for beginners. Credits packages start at just £6.95.
The Explorer subscription covers most of our records, but credits can still be used by subscribers to access Living Relatives and Memorial Scrolls.
Your account information will tell you how many credits you have left or how long you have left on your current subscription.
It is also possible to access the records using vouchers.
*Living Relatives costs 10 credits per search.
