A reimagining of society title The Tatler, London Life was launched in 1965 by the Illustrated London News Group. Dedicated to capturing life in London, the publication is a wonderful record of the ‘Swinging Sixties.’
Published between October 1965 and December 1966, London Life addresses a range of topics, from music and film to fashion and nightlife. It is particularly known for its interviews with cultural icons, such as Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger.
London Life’s presence on the publishing scene was only a fleeting one, however, as in 1968 the title reverted to The Tatler.
