The Wicklow registers and records consists of the following publications:
- Corn Growers, Carriers & Traders, County Wicklow, 1788, 1789 & 1790 - This was published in July 2007. The record shows the names of corn growers, carriers, and traders, as well as, when they went to market and how much corn they sold. It covers the dates 25 December 1788 to 25 December 1791. The original records were written on parchment paper and are held by the Wicklow County Genealogical Society. An index of townlands covered is available on image 4. The entries stretch across two pages.
- Kilcoole School Registers, 1862 - Compiled by G H O’Reilly and published in 1999. This is a collection of school registers from 1861 to 1938 (boys) and 1864 to 1918 (girls). Each entry will provide you will the student’s name, age at last birthday, date of entrance into school, address, denomination, occupation of parents, and previous schools.
- Newcastle School Registers, 1864-1948 - This collection of school registers was edited by George H O’Reilly and first printed in November 1997. Each entry will comprise the pupil’s name, age at the time of their last birthday, address, occupation of parents, and the date the pupil was admitted to the school.
- Shillelagh & Ballinacor South Memorial, 1837 - This is a transcription of a 19th century memorial. It was created from official papers (OP 1837/133) held by the National Archives of Ireland in Dublin. A memorial was a petition. The memorial captured in this publication was created by those who wanted to change the location of the Quarter Session from Baltinglass to Tinahely. All the names and addresses have been transcribed and they are ordered, first, alphabetically by surname, and second, alphabetically by place name. There are nearly 1,500 names represented. The original document was handwritten, therefore some errors in transcription may have occurred.
- The People of Wicklow 1798: The Rebellion - The publication was researched and compiled by Pat Power. The publication lists members of United Irishmen, Yeomen, and other notable groups of those who took part in the 1798 Rebellion from County Wicklow. It is an excellent source for genealogists and historians. The lists are in alphabetical order by surname and includes a category for each person which is explained in the introduction (images 6-10). The entries stretch across two pages.
